叶进然 Ye Jinran.

I see myself as a creative technology explorer, researcher, and multimedia artist.

My interests are in exploring programming, AI, and emerging media to create innovative aesthetic experiences. As an Interactive Media Arts and Computer Science student at NYU Shanghai, I’m dedicated to bridging cutting-edge technology with authentic human connection.

I believe that design endows technology with warmth, and I'm passionate about making advanced tech accessible and meaningful for everyone. Known for my unique mix of AI-driven installations and approachable designs, I'm always pushing the boundaries of what's possible for emerging technologies while keeping humanity at the heart of it all.

Right now, I'm diving deep into how AI and XR technologies can create immersive experiences that merge the virtual and physical worlds. At NYU Shanghai's Digital Heritage Lab, I'm working on projects using Stable Diffusion models to transform archaeological images into detailed sketches, helping preserve and share cultural heritage in new and exciting ways. I'm also exploring visualizing and popularizing the negative innfluence of social media algorithms in AR space.
